Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Reconstitution Pack contain?
1 bottle of bacteriostatic water 3 ml (benzyl alcohol 0.9%), 1 reconstitution syringe, 10 insulin syringes 31G 6 mm, 2 pairs of single-use nitrile gloves and disinfectant swabs.
Does the pack contain a peptide?
No. This is just the equipment, for reconstituting and handling a lyophilized peptide purchased separately. For a peptide with its equipment, see packs R10, R20, G50, GLOW1 and GLOW2.
Why a separate reconstitution syringe?
It is used to draw up the bacteriostatic water and introduce it into the lyophilized vial. The insulin syringes, which are thinner and finely graduated, are then used for the measured withdrawals of the reconstituted solution.
What are gloves used for?
Handle vials and syringes without contaminating septa and sterile equipment, in accordance with good laboratory practices.
What are disinfectant swabs used for?
Disinfect the septum of the vials (water and peptide) before each sampling, to limit the risk of contamination of the solution.
